NEXT COURSE DATE TO BE ADVISED
Peter Buckley from Mountain Safety Council is running Firearms Licence A endorsement 2 day course, which is open to the general public at Central Shooters Inc, Youthtown, 68A Nelson St, Auckland City
This will held over two consecutive Saturdays. Each session will be about three hours The course will include theory, practical shooting with .22 rifles and the Firearms Licence test Cost is $40 all inclusive Firearms licence is additional $126.50 which must be paid at a Post Shop For more information or booking, contact Peter on 0275 641 042 or email plbuckley@xtra.co.nz Other info at http://www.mountainsafety.org.nz
Process 1) Book in for the course by contacting Peter above and pay the $40 2) Pick up from the Police or download from http://www.police.govt.nz/service/firearms/ “Application for a New Zealand Firearms Licence” POL67/J which must be signed in front of and witnessed by the arms officer or Police, before you start the course 3) Pass the course 4) Pay $126.50 to your local Post Shop 5) Take the Post Shop receipt, 2 passport size photos, the POL67/J form and your Mountain Safety Council pass certificate to the "Auckland Central Police Station" arms officer for processing
