Welcome to the Central Shooters Inc (CSI) web site. The purpose of this site is to provide information to members and prospective members about the facilities and requirements of the club.

Central Shooters has been in existence for over 20 years, and continues to provide the opportunity to learn to use firearms in a safe and responsible manner in a controlled environment.

The club rooms and firing range are in the basement of Youthtown, in central Auckland and is available for private group bookings or for casual visitors to attend the club’s open nights each Thursday from 7pm. The range was originally built for .22 rifle with 10 bays of automatically returning targets. This was upgraded a few years ago to include most centre fire pistol calibres.

Shooting is a popular activity for school, scout, youth or corporate groups. CSI provides an Pistol New Zealand (PNZ) qualified Range Officer (RO) to instruct and assist. CSI also provides a limited number of club owned firearms, hearing protectors and safety glasses.
